Hello, I’m Maricela

Before I became a licensed Health Insurance advisor, I worked for 15 years in several states linking people in various communities to financial, health, and other valuable resources. The experience of being an advocate and working for non-profit organizations has allowed me to maintain the same principles of advocacy for every one of my clients in healthcare. Providing a high level of attention to people who need guidance is a major part of my work ethic and has turned them into lifelong clients. I love it when my clients feel empowered and confident about their healthcare options. As an independent agent advisor, I can be much more of an advocate than if I were employed by the insurance company directly.

One of the biggest challenges for people working with health insurance agents is that many agents are inaccessible after enrollment. I have come across many of these clients and have rightfully earned their trust and confidence. They find the level of follow-up and advocacy that I provide refreshing. You are not alone when talking to the insurance company. I am your advocate. Let me work for you

My education includes a Master of Arts in Marriage Family Therapy with an Emphasis on Latino/Families from Pacific Oaks College in California and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California Santa Barbara.

Hello, I’m Daniel

I started working in health insurance with a focus on medicare age clients in 2012 and have had the opportunity to work at various levels within the industry. My most recent position was with a large national insurance company as a Medicare broker manager working directly with agents to help them provide the best plan options to their clients. My experience and background led my wife and me to eventually start our agency in 2017 so that we can provide the best level of service that our clients and members of the 65+ community deserve.

The most impactful moment of my life was before my career in health insurance. I watched my grandmother slowly deteriorate as her body and mind gave way to Arthritis, Alzheimer’s, and mini-strokes. Right before she passed, she had stopped talking and barely recognized many of our family members. This painful memory of watching a loved one slowly deteriorate, and the challenges families face navigating health benefits and resources drive me to provide my clients age 65+ and their families with the guidance and support to ensure that they have an advisor that is available year-round.
